Download and install the appropriate software

It is possible to copy a DVD from three different sources:

1) From your DVD player (in the image “HL-DT-ST DDVRW GA32N KC12”)
2) From a folder with the DVD Video structure present on your MAC (in the Image “Open DVD Folder)
3) From a DVD .ISO image present on your MAC (in the Image "Open DVD Folder")


From now on, regardless of the source, the DVD will be decrypted and processed after a few seconds.

Are you ready now to choose what to copy
Usually, the "Full Copy" mode is preferred, because it allows you to copy all the contents.
In any case, you can also select "Main Movie" or you can select individually the video tracks clicking on "Customize". The following step is to select the “Target”, i.e. the DVD Write in which your favourite DVD Video will be copied.
In the pictures, you can see the Standard configuration (?): Source and Target (with our burning device) and Full Copy.

You can also select the burning speed; however, our advice is to leave the once recommended.
It is possible to preview what you are going to duplicate using the included DVD player, as you can see on the right side of the screen (Preview of DVD Movie)

Settings

You can select now the destination DVD Size (D5 or D9). Commonly, the DVDs on the market are D5 (single layer); however, to reach a higher quality you could also use the Dual Layer DVDs (D9), more expensive than the former ones.

Other available settings are:
-The possibility of removing the region code protection.
-The possibility of removing menus.
-Other less important settings.
And what about the chance to turning off automatically the MAC at the end of your DVD cloning? Selecting “Action after burning”, you can go to sleep, for instance, and the day after you will find the MAC off and the exact copy of your favourite DVD on it!
